Hello and welcome to my world
My world is a world of bodies. Moving bodies, Still bodies, My body, that is more than a body and less than a body. And yet, not just a body... I have seen it through my eyes, through the camera, through screens, through my imagination. I have miniaturised it, expanded it, fragmented it, perceived its image, its touch and smell, edit, repeat, reverse, cut. I investigate what makes bodies move. I am inspired by natural forms, by dreams, and by people's body stories, visual or tactile instants, possible 'befores' and 'afters'. Making is a need; it is also a desire. I will present this digital performance in collaboration with visual artist Jeremy Radvan at the Body-Culture-Art exhibition at Bath Royal Science and Literacy Institution. The exhibition aims to highlight the use of art to promote science through artist's interpretations of health research.
